125 DUKE - A GREAT PERFORMANCE

The 125 Duke offers maximum riding fun for all young people and the young at heart alike, thanks to thoroughbred motorcycle technology, which for 2013 has been enhanced by refined brakes including a larger front disc and a disengageable antilocking system – a world’s first in the 125 cc class! A refined four-stroke single cylinder with fuel injection and six-gear transmission provides adequate propulsion. ..

.

.The extremely economical engine with a sophisticated DOHC 4-valve cylinder head and liquid cooling not just has a strong and well-balanced power delivery but also great refinement, thanks to an integrated balancer shaft. An advanced electronic fuel injection and 3-way catalytic converter ensure clean emissions. A very light steel trellis frame, equipped with high quality WP suspension components, is the basis for dynamic fun in the twisties. The 125 Duke's upside-down forks have the same 43 mm tube diameter as the RC8 R – in other words, real racing equipment that guarantees highest levels of stability and precision. The 125 Duke is also a genuine motorcycle in terms of dimensions, providing plenty of space and freedom of movement. The gathered sitting position supports relaxed touring equally as well as committed cornering..

200 DUKE - THE RE-DISCOVERY OF LIGHTNESS

The 200 Duke proves that engine capacity is not a suitable criteria for riding pleasure and corner speed. Based on the state-of-the-art, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder four stroke engine of the 125 Duke, modifications have been made for the 200 Duke to generate 60 % more displacement and correspondingly fully developed power to the tune of 26 horses. New camshafts, bigger valves, a larger piston, a completely new crankshaft, new airbox, and new exhaust layout result in a bike that offers punchy torque with irresistible smoothness. The intricate engine design, state-of-the-art injection electronics and the close ratio, six-speed transmission not only help the 200 Duke to achieve impressive performance, but also very moderate fuel consumption. Thanks to the regulated catalytic converter, it produces only minimal emissions. ..

.

.The first-class chassis, with light-weight trellis frame in the proven KTM design, turns the 200 Duke into a real surfer through the curves. Weight grouped close to the centre of gravity maximizes maneuverability and precision. The 200 Duke has everything that distinguishes a genuine KTM – from the high-quality chassis components to the multi-function cockpit, and for 2013 even a disengageable antilocking system..

250 SX-F - THE NEW BENCHMARK

As demonstrated by five consecutive world championship titles between 2008 and 2012, the 250 cc fourstroke offers KTM riders the best balance of performance and handling in the MX2. For 2013, a completely new and significantly stronger engine with a shorter stroke and a larger bore will lift the 250 SX-F to an even higher level. The design of the new DOHC cylinder head has larger ports, an optimised combustion chamber, larger intake valves and new camshafts. The newly designed cylinder houses an extremely lightweight piston. The new crankshaft carries less inertia and has a connecting rod with plain bearings. The engine cases are produced in high pressure die cast instead of sand cast. The engine is now fitted with a counter balancer shaft for reduced vibrations and with a new clutch. As all MY 2013 fourstroke engines the 250 SX-F is equipped with a new Keihin engine management system and fuel injection which allows for higher gas flow and improved spray. ..

.

.Moreover the 250 SX-F is benefitting from a significantly revamped chassis. The new suspension scores with even higher reserves against bottoming out, improved responsiveness, and even better tracking stability. The 250 SX-F for 2013 is once again programmed for victory to win the MX2 World Championship title again..

250 EXC-F - KEY TO SUCCESS

KTM’s 250 cc four-stroke enduro has been ensuring success in the enduro E1 category at competitions all over the world for years. Just recently Antoine Meo conquered the E1 World Championship title 2012 on a 250 EXC-F. This makes the lively 250 a cornerstone of KTM’s consistent sales success in the Enduro market. For 2013 the 250 EXC-F excels with its super-agile chassis thanks to state-of-the-art WP suspension components and its powerful DOHC engine featuring electronic fuel injection. The latest version comes with new wheels manufactured in Mattighofen. The now black coated spokes increase corrosion resistance and centre new, extremely stable aluminium rims from Excel. ..

.

.New Maxxis tyres – especially developed for KTM – provide excellent traction, very precise directional control and a long service life. Last but not least a new in-tank fuel filter ensures safer filtering of micro particles in the fuel. The highly rugged, stable and ultra-light chassis will take everything you can throw at it. With unrivalled performance, this agile, tiny power pack remains the benchmark of its class in 2013.
